Malibu West
Malibu, CA
A neighborhood off Trancas Canyon Road primarily developed in the 1960s and 1970s, the Malibu West subdivision comprises 177 homes and 60 condominiums.
The lots range generally from about a quarter acre to over an acre, with underground utilities and private roads, and most of the original homes were designed by architects Nisan Matlin and Eugene Dvoretzky (who also designed the Malibu West Beach Club, used by many residents). While some properties have been replaced or remodeled over time, many still maintain their low-slung ranch or mid-century style. Some have ocean or canyon views.
